DAVIS, Harold Dickson “Dave”, age 97 of Brookville, died Saturday, May 26, 2018. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jessie (Sprout) Davis; brothers, Lloyd, Jim, Bill and Clyde; and sisters, Gertrude Mundy, Jody Siler, Ella Miller, and Donna Burke. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wanetta (Conley) Davis; son, Joe (Mai-Lin) Davis; a very special niece, Peggy Heidke; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dave was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1937 – 1945 and was a survivor of Pearl Harbor on the USS Nevada. He lived in California and served as lineman over Central Coast and later retired from DESC after 27 years of service and after retirement he and his wife owned/operated The Main & Bruce Laundromat for 15 years. Dave was a Railroad Enthusiast, loved to travel. He never met a stranger and was loved by all. Dave gave his life to the Lord in 1959 and was a member of North Huber Heights Baptist Church.
