Donald Leroy Whiteman

WHITEMAN, Rev. D. Leroy, age 86 of Huber Heights passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Carol Whiteman in 2013. He is survived by 3 children: Marlene Scott of Austin, Texas, Sherri Winchester of Huber Heights and Kevin Whiteman of Anderson, SC. 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law, Helen Jansen of Knoxville, Iowa, Lois Stevens of New Sharon, Iowa and Rev. Lloyd Eflin of Orlando, Florida. Leroy loved to travel, and talk about his travels; a HAM Radio operator (KA8PGV), took groups of people to Africa, Central America, and Israel for mission work through “MAPS Programs”, he was pastor his entire career at Assembly of God Churches (64 years) in numerous states throughout New England and the Midwest, and a Chaplin for Civil Air Patrol. Funeral Service 11 am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Bethel Christian Assembly Church 327 S. Smithville Road. Visitation prior to the service from 9 to 11 am on Wednesday at church. Rev.
