Olinger, David L. age 86, a proud life-long resident of Dayton passed away Saturday September 2, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Village. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Olinger and a brother Gerry F. Olinger. Survivors include his four children, Mark (Karen) of Richmond, VA., Karen (Rich) of Indianapolis, IN., Gerard (Colette) of Kettering, and Chris (Julie) of Austin, TX; a brother, James C. Olinger; grandchildren, Meghan (Mark), Jillian,Patrick, Olivia (David), Anthony (Donna), Natalie (Charlie), Brian, Joshua, Alex, Sophie; and a niece, Kathy. David was a founding member of the Dayton Cycling Club and was a Model Train enthusiast. A memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Monday September 4, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home Far Hills Chapel 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd.
