Cecil Franklin Hayden “Frank” beloved husband of Hazel Hostetler Hayden for 65 years, was born on July 25, 1928 in Daviess County, KY and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Frank was also the much adored father of son, Stephen Hayden, daughters, Rebekah Skaggs (Michael), Annette Esslinger (Steve), Suzie Hayden (Karen), and Rene Hayden. He was the grandfather of seven and the great grandfather of twelve. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Otis Kendall Hayden and Elizabeth Moors Hayden and brothers Charles Hayden and Robert Hayden. Frank served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant from Nov. 1950 to Nov. 1953. He was a tool-and-die maker for 28 years at NCR and a machine repairman for 21 years at GM/Delco. He was very active in his church as an Elder, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for most of his adult life. He was greatly loved and respected and will be sorely missed! Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave with Pastor Tracy Wright. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Friends and family may call from 1 - 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
