Stevens, Carolyn E., 80, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her husband Randall Stevens; parents Robert and Annabel Given; brothers William and Robert (Bud) Given. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and John Howlett of Huber Heights; grandsons Matthew Howlett and Jason Howlett; great-grandsons Brayden and Carter Howlett. Carolyn was retired from Robert Hall Clothing. She was a member of the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, was very active as a volunteer at the Charles I. Lathrem Senior Adult Center, and a life member of the Kettering VFW #9927 Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Rd., Kettering, Ohio. Pastor Julia Wharff Piermont officiating.
