Carol V Watkins

WATKINS, Carol (Valiquette) Age 84, of Kettering, OH. Carol passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on July 10, 2018. She was born on December 6, 1933 in Dayton, OH to the late Robert and Aurelia Valiquette (Gast). Carol was preceded in death by sister Jeanne Stein and grandson Aaron Conlon. Carol is survived by sister Suzanne Botelho of Columbus, daughters Debi Conlon, Linda McCloskey (Mike Griffis) of Dayton, and son Wayne Watkins (Diane) of Orlando, 4 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Carol retired from NCR as a telephone operator. She was a long time member of the Order of Eastern Star Harvest Chapter 564. Carol loved spending time with her friends, family and caring for her Grandchildren. She was involved with volunteering and Church activities with the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and good humor and was a very talented seamstress. Carol will be remembered as a sweet kind-hearted, compassionate loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend to many. Family will receive friends 9:00AM, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Dayton, OH 45429 until time of service at 10:00AM with Reverend Lori Reiber officiating.
