Brian was a Dayton local his entire life. He was a graduate of Patterson Co-Op in 1986 and later Sinclair Community College. A proud U.S Veteran, Brian served in the United States Army from 1986 to 1994. He was also a member of Centerville Community Church and Greene County Fish and Game.
Through the early years of his career, Brian cultivated an incredibly strong work ethic and dedication to whatever he was pursuing. In 2004 when the opportunity presented itself, he opened his own company and built a successful automation business, Integrated Design Solutions, with his great friend and colleague Steve Kracus. Brian wore many hats at IDS from Engineer, Assembler, Programmer, Field Service, whatever was needed Brian would do. He was a friend to everyone and a good ear to anyone who needed it. From day one he took the approach of operating the company as if it were a family. Brian had intense determination and zero quit. In business just as he was in life, Brian was about giving more than what was promised.
He loved being a father and watching his kids play baseball and softball. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, boating, his dog Liberty, and just about any activity with his family. Family was everything to him. He was always a man of his word and strongly believed that hard work pays off.
Brian was a selfless man, who constantly helped and cared for those around him. His faith in God and the message of hope he spread will always be remembered by the Jesus coins he shared with friends and strangers alike. Brian will leave a large hole in the hearts of many, but his never-ending love will live on forever.
Isaiah 42:16: “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”
Brian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tanya Dawn Clark (Stuckey), Son Cody Wayne Clark (23), Daughter Kaley Dawn Clark (19), Sister Renee Nicole Clark, Father Lonnie Wayne Clark, Mother Bridget Ann Clark, Father-In-Law Ivan Francis Stuckey Jr, and the many friends who have become family over the years.
Visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek (3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH 45432) on Saturday, September 18th at 10 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:30 a.m. and burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia.
