Brenda Sue Ishmael

Brenda was born December 19,1946, in Dayton, Ohio, to Paul and Juanita (Pool) Capps. She was one of eleven and very close to all her siblings. She was kind, compassionate and fiercely protective of her family. In the years after her children were grown, she loved running around town with her sisters or best friend, Karen Johnson. One of her favorite places was Las Vegas, where she loved to play the slots.

Brenda is survived by her husband Michael Ishmael; Daughter Kelly Bostick (Dave) Miller; Son Eric (Jamie) Bostick; Daughter Sherry Ishmael (Steve) Morse, Daughter Sheila Ishmael (Ron) Merritt; Son Michael Ishmael Jr; Grandchildren: Ethan and Chase Miller, Ryan Zahora and Olivia Wilkins, Alex and Miranda Merritt, Lauren and Aaron Ishmael; Kaitlin and Austin Morse; 9 great grandchildren; 2 Sisters Wanda (Capps) Mosley and Robin (Capps) Bruggeman.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, David and Edward Capps; her sisters, Patricia Janes, Carolyn Gibson, Betty Allen, Deborah Smith, Shirley Johnson.

Services will be held at Tobias Funeral Home on Far Hills Ave in Kettering, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 5th from 11-12:30pm with burial directly after at Woodland Cemetery.
