Brenda Gayle Holloway age 67 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 15, 2023, while her family and friends were by her side. Brenda was born March 21, 1955 and raised in Dayton, Ohio to the late Bill and Stella Holloway. After many years of service, she retired from Odawara Automation. Brenda was a faithful member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was an advocate for the down syndrome community. Her true testament to that community was becoming a devoted guardian for her sister Chelly.
She was always there to not only be the supportive sister but to be a voice for Chelly. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Askins. She is survived by her siblings: James Billings, Kelly (Matt) Newberry, and Chelly Holloway; niece Cheryl (Tom) Kettlehake, nephew Conley Newberry, great-niece Melinda (Billy) Chandler, and life-long friend John Fackler.
Family will receive friends 11:00AM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church until time of service at noon; with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating.
