Amy Ann Larson-Henry, age 47 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton after a long battle with a rare form of leukemia. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Linda and Clyde Stephens, a brother, William Larson, and an uncle, Joe Parisi. She is survived by her husband, Rick Henry. She is also survived by three aunts; Shirley (Phil) Young, Donna Parisi, and Nancy (Henry) Gudorf, as well as cousins, Doug (Erin) Young and Gabriel Gudorf, a niece and numerous nephews. Amy was a 1992 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School and also graduated from Sinclair Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Management. She worked as a property manager at Franklin Commons Apartments and tended bar at several Dayton area establishments. Amy loved three things deeply: her family, friends, and music. She even earned the nickname “The Human Jukebox”. A memorial service will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 3 PM; a gathering will be held at the funeral home from 1 PM until the time of the memorial service at 3 PM on Saturday afternoon. A celebration of life will follow at the Shamrock Athletic Club, 820 Linden Ave. Dayton, OH 45410. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Amy’s memory to The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, or to Hospice of Dayton.
