Ross, Ada Mae, age 95 of New Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter F. Ross; parents VanBuren and Catherine (Holland) Lewis; 2 sons, Charles Raymond Grice and Ronald Ross; grandson Christopher Lee Messenger; son-in-law Garry Sorrell; daughters-in-law Vickie L. Ross and Carol Grice; 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Ada is survived by 6 children: Paul S. Grice (Kandace Nevin), Carolyn Sorrell, Keith Ross, Cynthia Ross (Joe Schlorman), Brenda Holly, and Pamela Ross; daughter-in-law Gail Ross; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ada was an avid bowler who joined her first league during WWII while working for Inland Mfg. She bowled until the age of 92. Ada later worked at the Mill End shop making custom drapery, then opened her own custom drapery business.The visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. Funeral Service Friday at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial in Willow View Cemetery.
