Scott Allan Antle, 53, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the comfort of his own home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be Monday, October 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 am until 2 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or Genesis Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary. Scott was born March 24, 1961 in Davenport; the son of Jack D. Sr. and Arlene I. (Nichols) Antle. He graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1979. Scott was united in marriage, to his best friend, Julie Pekios on June 25, 1995 in Davenport. He worked at Nichols Aluminum for 34 years. Scott was just an all-around great guy who enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family and his many pets. Survivors include his wife, Julie; siblings: Jack Jr. (Denise) Antle, Roger (Pam) Antle and Danny (Sharon) Antle, all of Davenport; Kevin Antle, Brandon, FL; David (Tami) Antle, Bettendorf; Randy Antle, Auburn, GA; Kim Antle, Brandon, FL; Denise (Don) Johnston, Colona, IL; Penny Hahn and Charlie Pekios, Walcott; Connie (Kevin) Dodds, Davenport; Candy Kay and Jeff Harder, Davenport and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Garry and a sister-in-law, Allison Antle.
