A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ricky was born on November 22, 1962 in Havana, IL, to Jerry G. and Helen (Thompson) Session. He married Glenda Flowers on September 11, 1982 in Bath, IL. They later divorced but remained friends.
Ricky loved going to flea markets, camping, fishing, riding motorcycles and quads, and loved to go boating and pull his kids around on tubes. He loved and played football in high school as well as boxing. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. His favorite movies were all of the “Rocky” ones.
Ricky also loved his dogs, “Sweet Pea” and “Pretty Girl”, as he was always wanting to see them again. From Coon dogs to Beagles, to raising “toy” miniature dachshunds
Those left to cherish Ricky’s memories are his children, Joshua, Rikki, and Aerick; grandchildren, Kevin, Seth, Landon, and Luna; best friend, Annie Welch; friend, Glenda; along with his siblings and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents, and his parents, Jerry Gene Session and Helen (Thompson) Session Cluney.
Special thanks and so much appreciation goes to Annie Welch who took care of Ricky, no matter what life held, with love, compassion and obedience to God and is now part of our family.
