Visitation will be Monday 5-7pm at the Runge Mortuary. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Mortuary. Burial to follow at Davenport Memorial Park and online condolences can be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.
Patricio was born March 19, 1937 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Genovevo & Guadalupe (Gutierrez) Perez, the oldest of 12 children. He was united in marriage to Manuela Rivera on April 18, 1958 and they had 6 children he was very proud of.
Patricio had been a painter his entire life and was very proud of his work which included the Centennial Bridge, Adler Theater, and numerous other business. He had worked for many years with Iossi construction and retired from Quality Painting on March 30, 1999. He was member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades 676 of Davenport, IA.
Patricio enjoyed watching family and listening to his music under his willow tree he had planted in his backyard.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Manuela Perez; daughters, Blanca (Rodger) King and Patricia (Jose) Perales; sons, Victor Perez, Carlos Perez, Gerardo “Jerry” (Rochelle) Perez, and Ruben (Lisa) Perez; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
