Patricia “Tricia” A. Batey, 51, of Davenport passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center. Funeral services to honor Tricia’s life will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 12pm at Weerts Funeral Home; visitation will begin at 10am and go until the service. Burial will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens following the service. Memorials in Tricia’s name may be made to the family.
Tricia was born on May 12, 1971 to Dennis and Joyce Warner in Livonia, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Nathan Batey on April 27, 1996. Tricia was a homeschool teacher and taught her children all the way through high school graduation. She was very close to all of her friends that she made in the homeschool communities in Peoria, IL and Tucson, AZ. Tricia delighted in a very close, personal relationship with God, read His word daily, and was a prayer warrior for all those in need. She was a source of great encouragement and support for all those who knew her. Her friends and family were her joy and passion all her life.
Those left to honor Tricia’s memory are her husband of 26 years, Nate; her daughter Kelsey (husband Seth) Bowles and son Connor Batey; her brothers David, Paul, and Matthew; and her mother Joyce Warner.
She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Warner.
