Michael Edward Lee, 76, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Genesis East Medical Center. Cremation rites will be given. His final resting place will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at rungemortuary.com
Michael was born June 29, 1947 in Rock Island, IL. He was the son of Arthur and Mary (Blair) Lee. He graduated from United Township High School. He worked as a painter and assemble for International Harvester for over 15 years until their closure.
He was a long-time companion to Connie Good of Davenport. She preceded him in death. He loved going to stock car races with his son.
Michael served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Those left to honor his memory include son, Glen, Davenport; daughters: Jaime Stevens and Rebecca Quandt, both of Pueblo, CO; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Steve (Cindy) Lee and family of Geneseo and Perry Wayne Lee and family of Hillsdale, IL along with several nieces and nephews including a special niece and caregiver for two years, Shelly Hollars.
His parents and a sister-in-law, Pam Lee preceded him in death.
