Martin "Pancake" Alfaro Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Monday, January 15, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 417 N. Main St. Davenport, IA, followed by the funeral service beginning at 6pm. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Martin was born on October 23, 1996 to Martin Alfaro, Sr. and Virginia Carrillo in Davenport, IA.

Martin was very family oriented and his world revolved around his son. He had a very tough exterior and a sweet soul. He enjoyed soccer and jujitsu. His laughter was contagious and he will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Martin and Virginia; son, Martin Alfaro III; and siblings, Luis Alfaro, Neri Alfaro, and Arlie Alfaro; along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends that are like family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Agustin Carrillo, and maternal grandmother, Angelina Gomez.
