Kim Marie Witt

Kim Marie Witt, 65, of Davenport passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 2 pm in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. She was born July 17, 1949 in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Max and Betty (Rasmussen) Current. She was a registered nurse with Genesis Family Medical Center for twenty plus years, retiring in May 2014. She loved baking, crafting, scrapbooking, quilting and cross stitch. She also did volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity.

Those left to honor her memory are sons and daughter: David (Tara) Peyton of Bettendorf, William (Robin) Peyton of Dewitt and Jill (Patrick) Lackey of Rock Island; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; her mother, Betty Current of Davenport and a sister, Katherine Brasch of Montpelier. She was preceded in death by her father, Max and brother-in-law, Larry Brasch.
