Kenneth "Ken" August Bueker Sr.

Services will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 12 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30th from 10 am until the service at noon, at the mortuary. His final resting place will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may go to the family. Online condolences may be left at rungemortuary.com.

Ken was born March 13, 1939 in Davenport, IA, the son of Kenneth August and Gertie Bueker. He graduated from Davenport Central High School. Ken worked for Oscar Mayer for forty years before retiring. He married Sally Ann Welzenbach on February 27, 1960 in Davenport.

He loved to ride motorcycles and went on many trips with the guys to Sturgis. He loved going to car shows and the casinos where he enjoyed listening to the live music. His greatest joy was his family and spending time with all of them.

Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife, Sally, sons: Ken Jr and James (Terri) all of Davenport; grandchildren: Nathan, Matthew and Sarah; great grandchildren: Josey, Kirstin and Talan; sister-in-law, Darlene Bueker, CA, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, “Magic.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kathy Youngblood and brothers: David, Larry and Fred.
