Kari Anne "Care Bear" Buckley

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, February 9, at the Runge Mortuary. Services will be held at 10am on Friday, February 10, at the mortuary. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Following services everyone is invited to join the family at The Beach Pub, Buffalo, Iowa for a luncheon.

Kari was born December 25, 1976, the daughter of James and Nancy (Teeple) Buckley in Iowa City, IA. She worked for many years at Dohrn Transfer Company and the Beach Pub in Buffalo, IA.

Kari had a great sense of humor and was brutally honest. She loved animals, especially her dogs, Phoenix, Apollo, Pommy and Remington.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Buckley, Davenport, IA; father, Jim (Janine) Buckley, Buffalo, IA; brother, Kory (Chelsey) Buckley, Davenport, IA; niece, Jordan Bailey; the love of her life, Terry Hutchison, Davenport, IA; along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Kari was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Lorraine Buckley; maternal grandparents, Ray and Anna Teeple; and step-grandmother, Alice Buckley.
