Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made in John’s name to the King’s Harvest Ministries.
John was born June 26, 1950 in Davenport, IA to Grant and Violet (Downing) White. He was born and raised in Davenport, and after starting his own family in Wisconsin, he returned.
John enjoyed dancing, country music, CB radios, karaoke, and tinkering with mechanical things. He was a very outgoing and social person that made friends wherever he went. John was always exceptionally giving and went out of his way to help others.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, John White and Kimberly (Karl) Spealman; two grandchildren; sister, Deb; brother, Dean; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
