Jevin Edward Gittings

Jevin Gittings, 26, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Friday, January 26, 2024. Per his request cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Jevin’s name may be made to the family.

Jevin was born on January 16, 1998 in Davenport, Iowa to Geraldine “Geri” Gittings and Robert “Bullet” Donahue. Jevin graduated from Davenport North High School in 2016. He worked various jobs over the years, most recently he was at Sam’s Club in the Automotive Department. Jevin loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, being outside, playing basketball with friends, making music in his studio, and he loved his family, friends, and pets.

Those left to honor his memory are his mother Geri; brother Wade; sister Danielle Nylund; niece Alaina; nephew Jayden; his rabbit Floppers; his puppy Fancy; grandmother Carole Gittings; grandfather Edward Gittings; aunts Karen (David) McCoy and Steph (Claude) Hubbard; uncle Dwight (Missy) Gittings; and cousins Greg, Doug, and Emily McCoy, Donald and Spenser Barton.

He was preceded in death by his father Bullet and grandmother Bonnie.
