Grace E. Garrison

Funeral services for Grace E. Garrison, 86, of Davenport will be 11:00 am on Monday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Monday from 10:00 am to service time at the Mortuary. Grace passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center – West Campus, Davenport.Grace Elouise Williamson was born on September 21, 1925 in Bucknell, Iowa, the daughter of John and Gladys (Masters) Williamson. She married Robert Wayne Garrison on March 8, 1947 in Iowa City. She worked in the Accounting Dept for the International Harvester Farmall Tractor Plant in Rock Island from 1946-1954. Then she worked at National Tea Co from 1966 to 1976. She retired in 1976.Grace was a life-long member of Grace United Methodist Church, Davenport. She enjoyed puzzle books, and cooking for her family.Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Davenport, son; Wayne (Kathy) Garrison of Mediapolis, Iowa, grandchildren; Troy (Dina) Garrison and Abby (Ehren) Housman, all of Mediapolis, Iowa.She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Davenport.Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.Cunnick-Collins.com.
