Florence Koberg

Florence Koberg, 83, of Eldridge passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at Grand Haven Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 10:00 a.m. at Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Florence was born September 21, 1926 in rural Scott County. She was united in marriage to Lyndon Koberg, Sr. November 16, 1947 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. He preceded her in death June 3, 1999.

She was a member of Davenport Moose Lodge, Elks, and CASI.

Florence was an avid bowler in QC bowling leagues for over 50 years. She was very social and involved in many activities. She loved to play cards and supported her 6 grandsons loudly in all their activities.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Lyndon (Teri) Koberg, Jr., The Villages, FL, Lanny Koberg, Parshall, CO; daughter, Sally (James) Plambeck, Davenport; 6 grandsons, Jeff Koberg, Eric and Reid Koberg, William, Joseph, and Peter Plambeck; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Etta Ehlers, Manitowoc, WI.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marian Wuestenberg, and brothers, Herman and Oliver Frick.
