Debra V. Mills

Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm Friday March 30, 2018 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Buffalo, IA. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Deb was born on December 4, 1965 in Davenport, IA to Wayne and Loretta (Barts) Viner. She worked as a paralegal for over thirty years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, road trips, and shopping at thrifts stores, especially Goodwill to find bargains. Deb was a collector dolls, shoes, purses and clothes.

Family was very important to Deb and she enjoyed sharing good meals with them. Deb will be remembered for her ability to keep smiling and her great sense of humor. She loved life and enjoyed having fun. She brought a sarcastic twist to situations and was a very nonjudgmental, compassionate person. Even in death, she was able to give unselfishly to others by the gift of life through organ and tissue donations.

Those left cherishing her memory include her husband, Yahron “Butch” Mills; son, Kyle Geerts; stepmother, Nina Viner; sister, Teri Viner; stepdaughter, Pauline (Brian Johnson) Cline; granddaughter, Ayla; mother and father-in-law, Marilyn and Jim Dekeyrel; mother-in-law, Debra J. Mills; brothers-in-law, John (Vicky) Mills, Ivan (Molly) Mills and Richard (Lyn) Mills and sister-in-law, Gayla (Jon) Stepanek.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea and father-in-law, Gaylord Mills Sr.
