Charles L. Paulson, 86, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Manor Care on Utica Ridge. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Paulson was born September 2, 1924 in Newton, IA. He was a 1942 graduate of Kellogg Iowa High School and served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Philippines.
On June 21, 1953, he married Gladys Grieme in Kahoka, MO. She preceded him in death July 15, 2003.
He retired in 1986 after a 31 year career with Alcoa and was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Davenport. He enjoyed building model aircraft.
Survivors include children: Donald (Debbie) Paulson of Letts, Dale Paulson of Davenport, Patty Vieth of Davenport, and nine grandchildren.
