Brian L. Goodwin, 44, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 3 - 6pm at the Cunnick-Collins Celebration of Life Center.
Brian was born on December 3, 1979 to Don Goodwin and Sandi Davis in Iowa City, Iowa. Following high school, Brian went on to earn his Associates Degree. He worked various jobs over the years, but his most recent job was working for Scott County as a 2nd Road Maintenance Person. He was united in marriage to Sarah Tigges on September 19, 2009. Brian loved to spend time working on cars, fishing, and traveling to see his kids.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife of 14 years, Sarah; sons Bryson Tigges, Seth Goodwin, and Caleb Goodwin; granddaughter Everleigh; brothers Joseph Goodwin and Cody Russell; sister Destini Martinie; mom Deanna Gott; good friends Brandon Wafer and Jason Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
