Betsy Ann Untiedt, 91, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Betsy was born on April 13, 1933 to Grover and Hilda (Barkholtz) Waldman in Davenport, IA. She grew up in Davenport, where she met and married Gene Arthur Untiedt on May 11, 1952. They had one son, Scott, and three daughters, Randi, Vicki, and Kerri.
Betsy was active in Girl Scouts and a Camp Fire Girl’s Leader. She enjoyed reading books daily.
She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Gene Untiedt; children, Randi Toft, Vicki (Alan) Gohn, Scott (Suzy) Untiedt, and Kerri (Bryan) Schroder; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
