Anna Mae Stewart

Anna Mae Stewart, 86, of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away on January 4, 2025. A visitation will be held at the Runge Mortuary on Monday January 13, 2025 from 5-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John Vianney on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at 10am. She will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park next to her husband Thomas Stewart. Memorials may be made in Anna Mae’s name to St. John Vianney.

Anna Mae was born on October 6, 1938 in Keota Iowa to Howard and Dorothy Horras. She was raised on the family’s farm and was the oldest of 8 children. Throughout her life she remained closed to each of her siblings. She was united in marriage to Thomas Stewart on June 3, 1961. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage until his passing in 2004. Anna Mae enjoyed socializing, family and church. She enjoyed her time singing in the church choir. Family was a very important part of her life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children; Linda Martin, Eric (Kathy) Stewart, Amy Stewart; grandchildren; Rachel (Jordan) Fenton, Amanda (Blake) Ellinor, Sarah (Jacob) Burd, Ethan Stewart, Melissa Mae Stewart, Amaya Williams, Arianna Williams; great grandchildren, Evelyn Fenton, Vivienne Fenton, Asher Ellinor, Boden Ellinor, Sadie Burd; siblings, Sandra McNamara, Betty Lou Mendez, Jana Sterling, Edward Horras, Susan Stibal and Cindy Hendrickson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandson, Kendriel Williams; brother, Thomas Horras and son in law Daniel Martin.
