Rose Marie Lewis

She worked as a Nurses Aide at a very young age in Point Edward, where she met her future husband. She was a very family orientated person and a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many favourite activities that included bowling, ceramics, picking berries, baking, bingo and playing cards. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren became her favourite past times in her later years and “Nanny Rosie” will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her sons, Philip and Terry (Lisa) and her daughters, Pamela and Brenda. She is also survived by her sisters Sandra and Francis.

She was “Nanny Rosie” to seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Rose was predeceased by her husband Philip Campbell Lewis, her brother, Paul and sisters, Kathleen, Liz, Tracy, Pauline and Heidi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date this summer.

Following the Celebration of Life, interment will take place at Saint Johns Cemetery in Point Edward, Nova Scotia.

A donation made in Rose Marie Lewis’ name to the All Saints Anglican Church in New Waterford would be appreciated.
