Rodgers, Kyle N. - 18, of Dartmouth passed away October 5, 2010 at home. Born in Halifax he was the son of Rachel (Rodgers) Powell and (stepfather) Kirb Powell (father) Michael Merlin. Kyle enjoyed fishing, camping, gunrange, traveling, spending time with his family, hanging with his friends and taking care of his dog. He is survived by his beloved girlfriend Telicia Boutilier and his unborn child; grandmothers Grace Rodgers and Dorothy Nixon; many aunts, uncles and by many friends; brothers Avery, Jayden, Ashton, Kelton; sisters Coral, Sarah, Mea and Lavonah. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather Donald Harold Rodgers. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday October 11, 2010 with a Memorial service to be held 10 am Tuesday all in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
