Hazel Kathleen Mason-88 of Dartmouth passed away peacefully March 11th 2022. Born in Dartmouth, Daughter of the late Charles E and Kathleen (Roache) Hillier and was the last surviving member of her family. Before becoming a stay at home mother she worked at Harbour Motors Portland Street for twelve years and was a longtime member of St. Mary of Bethany Altar Guild and a former member of the Halifax Cerebral Policy Association.
Hazel is survived by her son Kenneth (Heidi); sister in law Shirley Hutt; and was also a much loved and respected Aunt to several nieces and nephews as well as a true friend to all.
Predeceased by her husband Cyril (1995); son Wayne (2002); sister Beatrice Brown; and brothers Frank and Charlies.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Service to be held in the Church of the Holly Spirit on March 28,2022 at 1:00pm, Rev Mark Pretty Officiating. Private Burial to follow at Camp Hill Cemetery.
