Hazel Harding

Harding, Hazel, Age 85, of Eastern Passage passed away May 8, 2024 at the Dartmouth General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Frenchman’s Cove, NL to the late Eugene & Minnie (Bond) Cluett.

She was a traditional stay at home Mom who loved to cook and bake for her family and friends that was when she was the happiest. She a dedicated member of St. Alban’s Church serving in many roles.

She is survived by her Son, Kerry; Daughters, Darlene (Brian), Valerie (Dennis) and Shauna (Scott). Sisters, Doris (Jim) Day, Eileen (Harold) Matthews, Linda Bulger all NL, Sister-in-laws, Rose Cluett, Texas and Verna Cluett, Halifax and Brother-in-laws Jack Matchem, Pictou and Roy Hardiman, Garnish, NL, Ralph Harding, Dartmouth and Lloyd Harding, Hermitage, NL. Her Grandchildren, Erica, Myles, Mallory, Ian and Devon and Great Grandchildren, Elliott, Owen, Kayden and McKinley as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eric and son, Darrell. Sisters, Marion (Willis) Parsons, Gwen Cluett, Effie Matchem, Rita Hardiman and Brothers, Walter and Morley.

There will be no Visitation by request.

Celebration of Life will be held 11AM, Thursday, May 16, 2024 at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, 345 Pleasant St. Dartmouth, Rev. Cannon David Greenwood officiating. Private Family Burial to held. Family flowers only.
