George Herbert Smith, age 79, of Dartmouth, NS left us suddenly and quietly on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at home with his wife. Born in Fredericton, NB on May 3, 1944 he was the son of the late George Frederick and Margaret (Pond) Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 53 Years, Phyllis Bernice Smith; his eldest daughter and grandson, Angela Harasinski and Henry Harasinski and his youngest daughter, Lisa Hasenhindl.
George had a well lived life, full of travel of both business and pleasure. He loved anything and everything to do with carnivals and he had always enjoyed listening to live music and watching movies. He had a huge love for all animals and spoiled all of his cats over the years.
He will be deeply missed by his family who loved him dearly.
