KING, Ethel Amy – 81, of Dartmouth, passed away July 27, 2019 peacefully in her sleep in the Q E II VG Site. Born in British Harbour, NL. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellie (Gardener) King. She was an active member of Dartmouth First Church of the Nazarene, loving mother, community volunteer, homemaker and especially enjoyed her son Chesley’s cooking. She is survived by her sons, Chesley Hutchings, Norman Hutchings and Wilfred Hutchings, daughters, Marlene Woodsworth and Rose Fortin, brother William Henry King, grandchildren, Daniel Fortin, James Fortin, Adrian Fortin, Veronica Fortin, Stephanie Hutchings, Melissa Kelly, Maxwell Pilgrim, Eric Sampson, Heidi Sampson, Tabitha Hutchings and Rae-lyn Schlizenger, great-grandchildren, Owen and Landon Kelly, Alexandria and Zoe-Lyn Tompkins-Hutchings, Zoe Sampson, Nathan and Madison Pilgrim, Colton and Hunter Sampson, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harris Humber, daughter, Loretta Sampson, brother, Chesley Frank King and Sister, Beulah King. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Wednesday, July 31, in Dartmouth First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Ralph Yarn officiating with a reception to follow. Burial will take place in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
