I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Barbara. It has been very hard on my friend Jim and I can hear the sadness in his voice.

  Unfortunately I did not get a chance to meet Barbara but I know what kind of a person she was through her brother Jim.  He spoke very highly of her and loved her so very much.
  May the good Lord give you all the strength to get through this emotional time.  My prayers are with Barbara and her entire family.  May God rest her soul.

We had the joy and privilege of knowing Barb both when she was a student of Stan's at St. Mary's University and again, when she became a student of ours at Grace College of Christian Ministry. Her searching mind, bright spirit and indomitable courage in the face of  suffering were testimonies to her Christian faith and an inspiration to us and many others. Dear Cousin John....we were all saddened to hear of Barb's untimely passing and want you to know how much she was loved and what a joy she was to be around. I was so sad to read of Barb's death -- my deepest sympathies to John and both of their families. I first met her in the eighties when I was a nurse in a hospital clinic. We have shared more than a few laughs over the years. I admired her spunk and, of course, her cheery disposition. I will remember how her whole face lit up when she smiled. Joan Proctor
