JAMIESON, Alice Myra - 89, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2017 in Arborstone Enhanced Care in Purcell’s Cove. Born in Lunenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Elsie (Dimmell) Whynot. She is survived by her sister Alberta (Chris) Beech, Edmonton, Alberta and predeceased by her sisters Marjorie Chales, and Audrey Williams along with brothers Pearlie, Charles, and Ralph. In her younger years she worked at the Waterville Hospital were she met and later married our father Joseph Augustine Boudreault. While raising their children they operated a professional commercial cleaning service. She was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion for a period of time, helping out with various functions and organizations. She then returned to healthcare where she worked for Comcare Health Services in various hospitals and care facilities. She later remarried to George Jamieson. She will be remembered as a loving mother, who enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, music, dancing and playing card games. She is survived by daughters Gail (John) Chester, B.C.; Marlene Beaulieu, B.C.; Deborah (Marshall) Laviolette, Dartmouth; and Darlene (Joe) Dartmouth. Sons Joel (Darlene) Dartmouth; Steven (Linda), Coldbrook; Lyle, Newport; Ricky, B.C.; Leon, Windsor; Rodger, Dartmouth; and Andrew (Tanya), Dartmouth. She was predeceased by her sons Keith, Blair, and Dale. She was also predeceased by our father (Joseph) and her husband George. She was joyful about having lived a full life and excited to see what the next phase in her journey was about to bring. Her family is honored to celebrate the life that left us rich in memories. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 7:00 pm in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, N.S. with the Rev. Carson Baxter officiating.
