Robert A. Hibbert

Robert A. Hibbert, 80, of Danbury, beloved husband of Margaret (Pellerin) Hibbert, passed away at Danbury Hospital, on Monday, December 26, 2011. Robert was born in Danbury, son of the late Wilbraham and Ada (Lewis) Hibbert. He attended Danbury schools and had worked as a machinist for the Amphenol Corporation, until his retirement in 1996.

In addition to his wife Margaret, he is survived by three children: Mary Gustavson and husband George, of Danbury, Donna Lounsbury, of Wappingers Falls, NY and David Hibbert and wife She Lia, of Las Vegas, NV, and five grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Florence Simons and brothers, George, William, James and Walter Hibbert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. Friends may call at the Green funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
