Mary was born in Bridgeport, October 2, 1955 the daughter of the late Pasqual and Rose (Caracciola) Alfano. Mary worked for 18 years as an inspector with Avco-Lycoming, followed by 22 years as an inspector and union representative with RBC Heim Bearing Co. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, bowling, trips to Las Vegas, and horseback riding.
In addition to her husband Frank, Mary is survived by her brothers, Patrick, Michael, and Christopher Alfano, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Alfano.
A funeral service for Mary will take place at 12:00pm on Tuesday October 19th at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury. Burial will follow in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
It is requested that you wear a face mask to the visitation and service at the funeral home if you have not been vaccinated for COVID-19.
