It is with great sadness that the family of Marion Esposito, 68, of New Fairfield, announce her passing on Sunday January 1st 2017. Marion was born on February 17, 1948 in New Rochelle, New York to Aniellio and Anna Esposito. Marion was the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1966 and worked for Neptune Moving Co. On April 18th 1970 Marion married Anthony Esposito of Queens, New York. They lived briefly in New Rochelle before moving to New Fairfield, CT where they raised their daughter Lauren Anne. Marion worked for many years in the New Fairfield School District at Meeting House Hill School. The endless stories of the children and staff there proved her true devotion, not only to the school, but most importantly the families that she met along the way. She was a devoted and faithful parishioner of Saint Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Marion will be lovingly remembered by her husband Anthony Esposito, her daughter Lauren Runco (Nicholas) her two grandchildren Olivia and Anthony, her sister Louise Signorelli (Louis) of New Rochelle, her brother Nunzio Esposito (Louise) of the Bronx, her sister in law Lucille Esposito White of Levittown, New York and her many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Her family and friends will cherish her memories always. Visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Thursday evening January 5th from 5pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield on Friday January 6th at 9:45am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project be made in Marion’s name at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
