Lauren Ashley Mills Ballas, 35, of Monroe CT, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 14, 2024 at her home. She was the loving wife to her amazing husband, Andrew Budd Ballas, married on September 3, 2023.
Lauren was born in Danbury, CT, the only daughter of Robin Eletto of Jacksonville FL (Lauren being her mom’s heart and soul); and Robert Mills and his wife, Susan Mills, of Brookfield CT.
Besides her husband and parents, Lauren leaves behind her adored brother, Bobby Mills, of Jacksonville FL; her in-laws, George and Melissa Ballas - whom she loved as much as her own parents; her grandfather, Richard Eletto (wife Anna) of Stamford CT; grandmother, Anita Mills of Vero Beach FL; and grandmother, Fran Borges of West Virginia. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings and friends that meant as much as family.
She was the center of everyone’s world. Her parents and in-laws loved her more than words can say.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Donald Mills, and grandmother, Rosalind Kennedy Lewis.
She was a 2007 graduate of Shepaug High School in Washington CT.
Lauren proudly worked for both Fanatics and The Walt Disney Company over the course of her career. She was also an owner of a dog walking business.
Those who knew her loved her for her huge heart, vivacious and fun personality, and hysterical wit. She adored her husband and family, their two dogs Kaylee and Bean (and any dog she met!), 40 chickens, comedy, her TikTok videos, Disney movies, processed foods but especially Goldfish with ketchup, and all that life had to offer. She’d give the shirt off her back if anyone needed it. And she was loved to the moon and back by all.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:15pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. A reception will follow.
Friends will be received from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
Her spirit will live on forever. She will be missed by all.
