Jeanne was born in Bethel, August 5, 1925, the daughter of the late John and Ethel M. (Grocutt) Clarke. She grew up in Bethel before meeting her husband Fred Parille and settling in Danbury.
After getting married, Jeanne worked as a volunteer at Danbury Hospital before starting an office for the American Cancer Society where she served as director and administrator. Following her work with the American Cancer Society, she assisted with the formation, and was a founding member of I CAN Cancer Support Services in Danbury, serving as a board member for 17 years.
During the last years of her life, Jeanne resided at The Gardens in Danbury, where she formed many friendships with staff and residents.
Jeanne is survived by her two sons, David Parille and his wife Susan of Danbury, and Mark Parille and his wife Lisa of Danbury, one sister, Ethel Leahey of Danbury and three grandchildren Lindsay, Kaitlin and Connor.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service for Jeanne will be celebrated at St James Episcopal Church, 25 West St, Danbury on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
