Hermano Simao, 87, of Danbury, Connecticut, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024. Born in Azores, Portugal, to the late Francesco and Maria Simao, Hermano immigrated to the United States where he built a life filled with cherished memories.
In 2013, Hermano was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beatriz (Rebelo-Cabral). He is survived by his two sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews who remember him for his warm and affectionate personality, always finding joy in the company of family and friends.
Visitation to celebrate Hermano's life will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, located at 57 Main St, Danbury, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 149 Deer Hill Ave, Danbury, CT, followed by burial at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave Extension, Danbury, CT.
Hermano's legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion to family, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kindness and vibrant spirit will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those he touched.
