Ethel Schmitt, a longtime resident of Danbury, died on October 3, 2017 at the Village Crest Nursing Home in New Milford, CT. She was 105 years old. Ethel was born August 19, 1912 in Yonkers, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Augusta (Mutch) Schmitt.
She worked as a secretary during her life and enjoyed tap dancing at the local senior center. She was a kind and caring woman who will be greatly missed.
Entombment will take place on Wednesday October 11, 2017, 11:30am at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, New York.
