Yvonne Boleware Williams was born on December 17, 1939 in Karnack, Texas to Robert and Tillie Boleware. She was the seventh of 15 children. She was educated in the Caddo Parish, Louisiana, and Dallas, Texas school systems.
Yvonne, affectionately known as “Suebaby”, was loved and adored by and helped to nurture her 14 siblings: Stencer, Vidalia, Pearl, Robert Jr., Roxie, Fannie Mae, Erma Jean, Johnny Paul, Raymond, Callie, Ray Calvin, Benita, Cameron and Ronald Dale.
Yvonne and her family moved from Belcher, Louisiana to Dallas, Texas in 1956. In the 1960’s Yvonne married the love of her life, Larncell Williams, Sr. This union was blessed with six children: Vanessa, Gwendolyn Renee, Lisa Denell, Larncell Jr., Deione, and Kedra Devonne.
Yvonne dedicated her life to loving, raising and nurturing her children. She was an amazing and outstanding helpmeet to her husband Larncell. She and Larncell founded and operated Williams Rental Company. They also founded and operated Williams Plumbing Company.
Yvonne loved the Lord and had a deep and personal relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Earlier she was a member of Sebethany Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Clyde Traylor. She was later a member of Christ Temple under the leadership of Pastor Henry L. Ivory.
Yvonne was an excellent homemaker and cook. Among other things, she was known for her “Sock-It-To-Me” cake. She was such a good cook, that in their latter years, when Yvonne wasn’t able to cook, it was difficult to get her husband Larncell to eat anyone else’s food.
After a full, well lived life, Yvonne B. Williams, transitioned into the loving arms of Jesus, on Monday, May 18, 2020. She was welcomed by her husband Larncell Williams, Sr.; her parents Robert and Tillie; four brothers, Stencer, Robert Jr., Johnny Paul, and Ray Calvin; three sisters, Vidalia, Pearl and Roxie.
Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Vanessa (Eddie) Walker, Gwendolyn Renee Williams, Lisa Denell Williams, Larncell (Valencia) Williams, Jr., Deione Williams and Kedra Devonne Williams; her grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Taylor Walker, Christopher Williams, Jalyn Fletcher, Kamesha Williams, Ariel Williams, Kaleb Williams, Princese Thompson, Jacoby White, Jr., Bryson Solomon, Alexus Williams, Deione Williams II, Deionsha Williams and Tilora Williams; great-grandchildren, Morgan Bennett Williams, Marcus Simpson II, Kyelle Curlin, Amaal Blackmon, Marcus Stewart Jr., Kameron Allen, Alijah Williams, Dai Williams and Ryan Ross III; her brothers, Raymond Boleware, Cameron Boleware and Ronald Dale (Pamela) Boleware; her sisters, Fannie Mae Boleware, Erma Jean Dupree, Callie (MacArthur) Batts and Benita (Carl) Anderson; a Godson, Dr. Frantz Guignard; care-giver and friend, Juanita Higdon, and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
