Following graduation and his time in the United States Army, Webb had a very successful business career, first in investment banking and later in commercial real estate. Webb found his business love at The RREEF Funds. Webb, as a partner of the RREEF Funds, helped grow it to one of the largest and most respected commercial real estate advisory firms in the United States. His business pursuits were completely fulfilled by RREEF and the partners of RREEF.
Webb was active in many social, civic and charitable organizations. He was a member of The Salesmanship Club of Dallas, Dallas Country Club, Brook Hollow Golf Club, Idlewild, Dervish, Terpsichorean, Calyx clubs and many more. Webb became affectionately known as "Pops" and Terry "Tata" to family and friends some 25-30 years ago. Family and friends were everything to Pops and Tata. There is nothing he enjoyed more than entertaining and was the life of every party. He enjoyed spending every waking moment with family and friends, whether boating on the Pops Tata in Destin, Florida, on a cruise in the Mediterranean or Caribbean, scuba diving or on a golf course anywhere in the world as long as Tata was by his side. He loved dancing, where he and Tata were the envy of all on the dance floor. Webb loved traveling and took his children and grandchildren on great adventures all over the world. Pops was a mentor and inspiration to all who came to know him. He bettered the lives of countless people. He never turned his back on anyone in need and would seek opportunities to help any and all that needed help. He did not seek recognition and preferred to help others anonymously. Notwithstanding that, he did receive countless awards and recognition for many of his contributions to society throughout his life. His legacy will live on well into the future.
