Tisha Hernandez Garcia

Tisha Garcia, 59, beloved spouse, daughter, sister, aunt, friend left this earth on Decemeber 30th, but not after fighting hard to defeat the cancer within. She closed her big eyes and fought no more and God wrapped his loving arms around her and freed her from her pain. Auntie Fufu was full of life and would brighten any room she entered with her extravagant hat, ruby red lipstick,contagious smile and her witty sense of humor. She was born and raised in El Paso, TX but made Dallas her home in 1980. She worked as a dental surgical assistant in El Paso as well as Dallas till she retired in December of 2013. She was a great advocate of the AIDS foundation and would raise thousands of dollars with an annual auction/gala event, which she took great pride in organizing. Tish was survived by Claudia Bell, spouse; Ruth and Jose Garcia, parents: Joe Garcia, Jr., brother, and his wife Julie; Sylvia Maldonado, sister, and her husband Victor; Maggie Davis, sister; and an abundance of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

The memorial mass will be held Monday, January 5th, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Dr. Plano, TX 75075.
