Thelma Olive Anthony

Thelma was raised in Oak Cliff, Dallas and graduated from Crozier Technical High School in 1954. She married W.L. Anthony in 1955 and the couple had 2 Children, David and Karen Anthony. She was a manager at Enserch Exploration where she worked for more than 42 years. In her spare time Thelma enjoyed her grandchildren, crafting, puzzles, word searches, reading, walking, shopping, many different activities with the church, and the Citizens Police Academy. Most of all Thelma loved the Lord. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loyal friend, a sounding board, a servant of God who was strong in her beliefs and loved to joke because she was never seen without her fanny pack.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.J. and Dessie Goodwin, Sister Anna Goodwin, Brother Jack Goodwin, Husband W.L. Anthony, and Son David Anthony. She is survived by her daughter Karen McDonnell and Husband Shane McDonnell, grandson Shane McDonnell II and wife Amanda McDonnell, granddaughter Shayla McDonnell, Sister Evelyn Thomas, brother Jim Goodwin and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
