Tammy Renae Sanders was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She blessed her loved ones with her contagious laugh and zest for life for 55 years.
Tammy was born on January 13, 1967, to Gerald Ray Bradley, Sr., and Ophelia Ann Bradley. In her youth, Tammy loved being outside. From “tanning” with her mother to riding go-carts, she didn’t mind getting her hands and feet in the dirt. She also had a flair for singing…in fact, one of her favorite things to do was sing “Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head” as loud as she could for all to hear.
As Tammy grew, her heart and compassion for others grew with her. It wasn’t unusual to find her giving clothes, groceries, and any other item of need to any person in need.
Which led to her marriage to Frank Sanders in 2013 – because we all know, the man needed some help! They met through mutual friends and pretty much immediately knew they were meant to be together.
Professionally, Tammy spent numerous years in property management before retiring to enjoy her years of being a grandmother and caring for her family, and of course, her dogs who she also loved dearly.
As an adult, Tammy enjoyed creating. She could often be found crafting, painting, and decorating. She’d even been known to construct the occasional dining table by hand.
Tammy passed peacefully into eternity on May 22, 2022. She was surrounded by many loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Ray Bradley, Sr., and Ophelia Ann Bradley. She is survived by her husband Frank Sanders; children Bradley Mitchell and his wife Sun, Jessica Mitchell, Katie Beach, Darrian Sanders, and Preston Sanders; grandchildren Levi, Hailee and DeShawn, and siblings Alicia Dixon, Gerry Bradley, and Amanda Runnels.
