Sheila Constance Fucuals was born on March 19, 1956 in Dallas, TX to the parentage of Elijah Walker and Bobbi Jean Johnson Walker. The eldest daughter of five children. She received her education in Dallas schools, graduating from Hillcrest High School going on to continue her education and get an Associate’s degree from Cedar Valley College. Using that education she went on the work for the Social Security Administration and was a dedicated employee for 45 years, retired in December 2021.
She met and married her best friend, Carlton Fucuals on July 8, 1978, recently celebrated 44 years of marriage. They had one son, as she affectionately called her “one and only” Sheldon Fucuals.
She accepted Christ at an early age, in her young adult years joined Cedar Crest CME, then a group of members branched off and became First Christian CME in 1988 where she remained a faithful member until her passing.
Sheila was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, daughter sister, friend and servant for the Lord. She was a member of the choir, worship leader, was a prayer warrior for any and every one that knew her. Her Christian spirit would radiate to anyone she met. Most of all loved her family. She was happiest when everyone was together.
Sheila transitioned into eternal rest on October 5, 2022.
Sheila’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Carlton Fucuals, son Sheldon Fucuals (Shauna), grandchildren Airah Fucuals, Brooklyn Fucuals, Tristan Fucuals and Tre’vion Reed. A daughter in love Roshundra Ward (Shun). Five siblings Sherry Burrell (Tim), Uhl Walker (Loretta), Vicky Walker, Janice Walker, Nephews Kelvin Walker (Nicole) and Jonathan Walker and a host of other nieces, nephews family and friends that will miss her dearly.
